Shabbat is the central theme of this year’s Beit Midrash.  Shabbat is a topic rich in all areas of Jewish culture – law , legend, prayers, poetry , political thought , philosophy, and more. Our studies examine Shabbat-based ideas in Jewish literature from the Bible to the present day; and asks how these ideas are really expressed in our personal lives, community lives, and publicly.
