Beit Tefilah Israeli is a registered charity in Israel, a non-governmental organization, sustained by the generous support of .friends in Israel and abroad
Beit Tefilah Israeli is a registered charity in Israel, a non-governmental organization, and is sustained by the generous support of friends in Israel and from abroad. We are deeply grateful to these private individuals and foundations who help keep BTI vibrant, creative and open to the public.
As a non-Orthodox institution, BTI is not entitled to the substantial government funding Orthodox synagogues receive. Support for BTI comes from private donations, grants, dues from Israeli participants, overseas members, partnerships in-kind with local municipalities and fees generated from projects and services. These contributions underwrite our core operating expenses including rent at our spiritual homes, office rental, personnel, musicians, equipment and supplies, prayer books and costs associated with producing events. These costs have become considerably higher than can be covered by membership fees, which in the past two years have contributed to only a small percentage of our annual budget.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the institutional supporters of Beit Tefilah Israeli
